El Tatio Geysers - Atacama Desert Chile

It was the first time I climbed over 4,300 m (14.000 ft) -  I didn't  get sick! The photo below was taken at El Tatio Geysers in the Atacama Desert, Chile.

On this tour I had to wake up at dawn to arrive in time to witness the geyser steam. And even during Chilean summertime it was pretty cold specially  for a Brazilian.  After the show, there was a breakfast with coca tea (don't worry. It is legal and you won't get high) for those who were ill because of the altitude. I tasted. Nothing special.

Afterwards you can have a bathe in a lake naturally heated with boiling hot water. The bath is nice, but the problem is getting out without freezing.

I chose to frame another photographer to show the size
